Born in Kerala, Sir Roy, a naval architect by profession, started his career as a marine engineer and floated his first company, Aries Marine in 1998. With him at the helm, the company soon saw surreal growth.

Developed through the Research and Development wing of Aries Group of Companies, Aries International Maritime Research Institute, EFFISM is an innovative software that helps measure and enhance individual efficiency.

Passion for the Silver Screen
A successful entrepreneur, Sir Roy is extremely passionate about cinema and visual media, leading him to launch Marine Biz TV, a global maritime TV channel.
This, along with his other TV Channel, Medi BizTv generated more than 8,530 hours of infotainment content in the last decade. Sir Roy made his directional debut in Hollywood, with DAM999.
The critically acclaimed motion picture drew a lot of international attention for its message on dam safety and its ecological impact. The movie was a roaring success as it was shortlisted for the Oscars.
Its script, written by Sir Roy, made its way to the coveted Oscar library as part of its permanent core collection. His documentary titled “DAMs – the Lethal Water Bombs?” has won 23 International Awards.
Roy’s notable works as a filmmaker include the documentary Black Sand, which sheds light on ecological degradation due to unscientific mining methods, and the movie, Mmm … Sound of Pain, which focused on environment protection and climate change.
For his humanitarian and environmental protection efforts, he was honoured with the title of Knighthood by the Order of Parte Gulfa, Italy. On World Peace Day, September 21, 2022, the Council for Universal Peace (CUP) bestowed him with the prestigious Global Peace Award at the Global Summit 2022 for Peace & Humanity.
Revolutionising the Film Industry
In his efforts to create an enriching experience for moviegoers, he set up Ariesplex, the first dual 4K ATMOS theatre in the India.
He also established the first total-security studio-network platform complying with the standards of the Motion Picture Association of America, to execute post-production works of international projects in India along with co-production and distribution support.
Roy also bids to revolutionise the Indian film industry with a $10 billion initiative called Project lndywood, an innovative integration tool that has been creating waves in the Indian film industry.
Joining Sir Roy in his vision to make India great again, the Indian billionaire community has wholeheartedly accepted his concept of $1=Rs 1.

Over the past four decades, Sir Roy has won several awards. He has under his belt a Guinness World Records entry for the longest snake boat design and several other creative designs like BOTEL, topless ships, etc.
He also holds a global reputation as Director, Creative Head of Award Winning films and Documentaries, and is the project designer for the CSR movies, Jalam, and Aickarakkonathe Bhishaguaranmaar.
Sir Roy, who holds a Diploma in Film Direction from the Hollywood Film Institute, is consistently listed in the Top 50 Indian Leaders in the Middle East by Forbes Magazine.
He also serves as President of the International Maritime Club (IMC). On the academic front, he has six international technical paper presentations and 25 fully developed creative research products to his credit.
